While many schools are focused on STEM courses and activities, Jennifer’s position is we should be moving Full STEAM Ahead! The letters of this acronym are the same as those of STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics. The A stands for ARTS! The arts and creative thinking are integral parts of ingenuity! Creativity must be encouraged through the arts in conjunction with traditional STEM courses and activities to unlock the true potential of young makers, young scientists, future engineers, etc. She will be bringing ideas to help schools, teachers, parents, and students connect the worlds of STEM and the arts in meaningful ways and help students move Full STEAM Ahead.
